[ “Western Herbs for Eastern Philosophy”
With Evelyn Mulders of Kinesiology College of Canada
(Energy Kinesiologist, Founder and Director of Kinesiology College of Canada, Herbologist, Iridologist, Reflexologist, Creator of Sound Essence, Energy Vibrational Therapist, Owner an Operator of Holistic Tapestries Natural Care Center)
Description of Workshop: With Energy Kinesiology we use many tools to balance the meridians and chakras and auric field of the body. Using plant energies is not new in this work; however using herbs to balance the body on all dimensions, physically, emotionally and spiritually is revolutionary. Plants are in co-creation with humans and they have healing qualities that support the human body on all three dimensions. Using the energy model of healing with the herbs offers the potential to balance the body through the meridians and chakras, which embrace body, mind and soul balance. Choosing to use Western herbs and applying the Eastern model of healing offers a different, whole body perspective to health care. Working inside the holistic model taps into the full potential of herbal healing.
Evelyn’s Biography: Shifting her career from Engineering Technology to Energy Kinesiology in 1995. Owns and operates Holistic Tapestries Natural Care Center in Lake Country, Canada where she enjoys a successful practice. Evelyn was inspired to create vibrational remedies she calls “Sound Essence” endorsed by ICPKP and markets these tools, manuals and accompanying workshops worldwide. Recognized as a natural facilitator, Evelyn is the accredited faculty director of the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice and Director of the Kinesiology College of Canada, an accredited college offering BKP, PKP, TFH and various other related mini-workshops. Description of presentation: A multitude of reasons has many people disillusioned with the traditional education system and looking for alternatives. The Sudbury educational model offers children trust, respect, and freedom with responsibility. It preserves young children’s love of learning and life while rekindling the same in older children. It brings about amazing transformations in students and families, and produces confident, resourceful graduates who create fulfilling lives for themselves. This presentation will explain the Sudbury model in detail and allow time for participants to ask questions.

Why attend the conference?
Do I have to have a Doctorate of Natural Medicine to attend the conference?
The ADNMA – News and Updates.
The Association of Doctors of Natural Medicine – Alberta (ADNMA) 2nd Annual conference was held on November 21, 2006 and we are happy to say that this years’ function was a huge success!
Our first guest speaker of the day was Sherri Chisan who gave an excellent 2-hour presentation on “Visions for Strategic Planning”. We all know that strategic planning is not taught in 2 hours – we barely touched the tip of the iceberg! However, the response to Sherri’s workshop was very positive and the overall response was that a continuation of this type of workshop is a must. We hope to have Sherri back some time soon to share more of her wisdom with us.
Our second guest speaker joining us from Toronto was, Dr. June Ann Kelly D.N.M.®, N.M.D., M.D., Acu., D.O., President EBNMP™-Canada who gave us an update and latest news from EBNMP™ – Canada. Dr. Kelly also gave a short presentation on the history of the EBNMP™, and Natural Medicine.
What attendees are saying about our end-of-year function:
“It was wonderful of you to put together this conference. I did not realize there would be so many people from such a diversity of backgrounds there. It was great to meet everyone and I look forward to going to such events with your group in the future.” Dr. Sheryl Rist DNM®
"My first thought, after attending my first meeting of the ADNMA was excitement, to learn that there is an association that will validate the importance or significance of the Natural Health Field. I believe this movement is a positive change to our health care system in Canada as it is the beginning of closing the gap between Natural and Conventional Medicine." K. Dedels RMT
